The e-Permit
Once all visit information has been entered successfully, a form will appear from which you can view and print the permit. The permit lists information such as your date of visit, the day of the week the visit will occur, the date the permit was requested, vehicle and license plate information, and a legal notice. Additional Tracking and Permit # information is also listed on the permit and is used by Parking Office personnel when examining your vehicle.

Place the printed permit on the driver's side dashboard facing up so that it is visible from the outside. The permit entitles the user to park in any visitor parking space, faculty/staff parking space, or commuter student parking space. Avoid parking in metered spaces (unless you pay the parking meter), disabled spaces (unless you have a proper disabled placard/plate), service/delivery zone, "no-parking" area, or otherwise posted/marked areas.

LEGAL NOTICE: The illegal duplication or manufacturing of a parking permit is a crime. Vehicles displaying illegal parking permits are impounded at the owners' expense. Additional penalties and/or fines may occur for attempts to fraudulently obtain parking at NMSU.

Reprinting an e-Permit
To reprint a permit, all information that was used in the original request will need to be re-entered as if you are requesting a new permit. If the pertinent information has been duplicated successfully, your original permit (with any updated address information) will be available for printing purposes. Otherwise, the permit will be considered a "new" e-permit request and a new permit will be generated.
